Job Title: Data, Systems and Planning Co-Ordinator

Hours of work: 38 HOURS PER WEEK
8.00 – 4.30 p.m. Monday to Thursday with a ½ hour lunch break.
8.00 – 2.00 p.m. Friday, with a short break


Managing and reviewing the manufacturing data that enters and its output from the ERP system (Epicor). To work with all department to ensure 100% accuracy of data. To ensure the data maximises the efficiency of internal and external business activities.


Key responsibilities

  • ERP power user for Digico
    • Facilitate best ERP best practice in line with Group operating procedures
  • Data Owner, responsible for
    • Part, Inventory & Planning data
    • Bills of Material & Operations
    • Order book accuracy
    • Planning system exception management
    • Engineering Change extending to
      • Management of BOM changes
      • R&D and Manufacturing Engineer on New Products
      • Responsible for NPI activity at A&H for prototypes
    • On-going analysis of data and implementation of key business performance indicators
  • Data set up for ease of working with suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Inventory Accuracy
    • Responsibility for annual stocktake
    • Review inventory levels for business needs
    • Responsibility for accuracy of inventory with Stores Manager
  • Planning system
    • Create monthly forecast (MPS)
    • Run MRP via Epicor
  • Cost management
    • Review system costs (average & standard) on a regular basis
  • Use Epicor daily, weekly, monthly report in a timely manner for job review, purchase receipts, outstanding sales orders, invoices sales, inventory control and management of ERP transactions
  • Be the go-to on site person to investigate Epicor transactional errors
  • Training of all Epicor users in Glenrothes

Management & Leadership

  • To be a key member of the Glenrothes management team
  • Able to lead discussion on data, IT and ERP locally
  • To manage Purchase Order Processing staff member
  • To work with all Glenrothes management and colleagues
  • To work effectively with the Chessington team


  • HND or Degree qualified – Data, IT Manufacturing or Materials discipline – Desirable


  • 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing data, within a modern ERP application – Essential
  • Experience in material planning – Desirable
  • Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Excel – Essential
  • Experience in data analytics tools eg. Power BI – Desirable


  • Good communicator essential – Essential


  • Able to work logically. Self-motivated – Essential
  • Must be able to listen – Essential
  • Able to lead and motivate individuals and team – Essential
  •  Must like having fun – Essential

Other Requirements

  • Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Office 365 – Essential
  • Must be power use of an ERP System – Essential
