Quantum 852 is the largest and most advanced console from DiGiCo to date, and its introduction by Arxiduc Audio Co. marks a first for the Japanese market. Established in Japan in 2013, Arxiduc Audio Co. is a global sound reinforcement company with a South East Asian subsidiary, Arxiduc Asia Co, which also operates DiGiCo Systems. Both companies maintain proven track records in delivering audio excellence across the region.
The first Quantum console purchase made by the company was a Quantum 338 in September 2020. Since then, the company has leveraged Quantum power to steadily expand the scale and scope of projects, also adding a Quantum 225 to the inventory. With this most recent purchase, Arxiduc Audio Co. has established a robust operational framework centred around the Quantum Series, expanding the range of possible applications with its greater audio capability.
When selecting equipment to meet the needs of demanding high-end live performance, Arxiduc Audio CEO Hirohide Kobayashi places the utmost importance on not only performance and technology, but also on the specific challenges of each customer’s application. This philosophy was built on the company’s experience of providing flexible and stable solutions tailored to the unique requirements of every venue, leading to ultimate client satisfaction.
“The adoption of the DiGiCo Quantum range is a direct extension of this thinking,” explains Mr. Kobayashi. “By combining the highly reliable DiGiCo platform with scalability and intuitive operation alongside the expertise of our staff, we at Arxiduc Audio ensure consistently high-quality service.”
DiGiCo’s Quantum range delivers flexibility and stability, sought-after features in modern performance. The Quantum 852 offers a large console surface and high channel count, making it a perfect choice for complex productions. With onboard features such as Mustard Processing and Spice Rack, DiGiCo has designed a console for now and for the future. With two DMI slots per engine and the option to upgrade to dual Optocore loops, there is huge scope for expansion, making the DiGiCo ecosystem a perfect choice for Arxiduc Audio Inc.
As leaders in their field, the company was also an early adopter of KLANG, with engineers actively integrating the immersive in-ear monitoring system into their workflow. By providing each performer with a natural and fatigue-reducing immersive monitor mix, engineers help to elevate the performers’ experience, leaving them with greater capacity for performance.
Coinciding with the introduction of the Quantum 852, the company also implemented the Fourier transform.engine. By balancing flexible software-based operations with high-end performance, the team are now equipped to respond more rapidly to the diverse and sophisticated sound-quality demands of the market. It is a strong position and, as Mr. Kobayashi, concludes, the company’s relationship with DiGiCo is fuelling that success.
“The introduction of the Quantum 852 marks both a milestone and a new beginning for Arxiduc Audio,” Mr. Kobayashi says. “By pursuing a synergy between cutting-edge technology and the human expertise required to maximise it, the company intends to deepen its relationships with engineers, production companies, and partner firms worldwide. As a leading DiGiCo user, Arxiduc Audio continues to strive for further service excellence and business expansion.”
