DiGiCo brings the sound of celebration to the CPC 100th Anniversary
2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the CPC with a series of celebrations being held across the country to offer sincere blessings to the party. DiGiCo mixing consoles formed an integral part the complex audio set up for the celebration.
The Tiananmen Square Celebration welcomed the return of L-Acoustics and DiGiCo to power its prestigious event with a heavy responsibility falling on their shoulders to provide the best possible sound.
Professional audio company Rightway Audio Consultants provided three flagship Quantum7s, one SD12, two SD11s.

Full redundancy was provided by two of the Quantum7s, which were used as active master consoles and were responsible for digital signal transmission.
One SD11 took the pressure of processing the audio for the important leader’s speeches. The compact size of the consoles was ideal for Tiananmen Square, which has considerable restrictions on available space.
Additionally, the second SD11 was the perfect choice for the salute area. Again, the small, compact size of the SD11 easily solved the problem of site constraints and its versatility meant it could be used with various application scenarios.
The ceremony of the Tiananmen National Flag Guards was powered by the SD12. Also compact in size but big on features, the SD12 provided the optimum in performance for this section of the celebrations.
Featured in key areas, the DiGiCo consoles not only performed well during the celebrations, but were ultimately reliable. Both members of the party and the attendees on the day of the official event were delighted with the flawless quality of the audio.
