FARMINGDALE, New York – December 2022 – Group One Limited, the US distributor for a number of the pro audio and lighting industries’ leading brands, announces the appointment of Julian Gates as Technical Support Engineer for DiGiCo and KLANG.

Having joined the company in mid-November, Gates is spending the remainder of 2022 in Group One’s Farmingdale, New York office being trained by fellow Technical Support Engineers Chip Sciacca and Trevor Waite. In January, he will transition to the Rock Lititz campus in Lititz, Pennsylvania where he will work with the team based at DiGiCo’s new POD 5 location.

Gates is tasked with providing telephone and online technical support for DiGiCo’s and KLANG’s domestic customer bases, performing repairs and upgrade services in the shop, site-visiting clients to conduct product trainings, and other related duties.

“We’re really happy to welcome Julian as our newest addition to DiGiCo’s unrivaled support team,” says Matt Larson, Group One Vice President of Professional Audio, who announces the appointment. “He joins us with many years of experience as the system engineer for Houston-based LD Systems, where he served on some of their biggest festivals, including Lollapalooza, RodeoHouston, and Austin City Limits. Julian has also spent the past several years out with Clair Global and other sound companies on a number of top tours, including Bruno Mars, Machine Gun Kelly, and Post Malone, so he brings plenty of proven skills and end-user perspective to his new post with us.”
